Orma

Orma is a wine estate in Bolgheri, where the Moretti Cuseri family arrived in 2004. Antonio Moretti Cuseri, a wine enthusiast, was drawn to the area.

The estate lies within the Bolgheri DOC, bordering Ornellaia and the vineyards of Sassicaia. The soils are stony and clay-rich, with less sand than in areas closer to the sea. Its wines include Orma, the estate’s first label, which blends 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc and had its first vintage in 2005. The first vintage of Passi di Orma, a Bolgheri DOC wine, followed in 2015.
