Luigi Baudana

Luigi Baudana is a small wine estate in Serralunga d'Alba. Luigi and his wife, Fiorina, cultivated vineyards that had belonged to their family for generations and began making wine for themselves. In 1996, they bottled their first vintage of Barolo. Giuseppe, Francesca and Isidoro Vaira arrived in 2009, taking on the role of custodians of the estate's history. The estate's approximately three hectares of Barolo vineyards span Baudana, Cerretta and Costabella. Its wines include Barolo DOCG Baudana, from the vineyard that shares its name, and Barolo Cerretta, which comes from two small plots containing different biotypes of Nebbiolo.
