Giuseppe Cortese is a wine producer with a cellar above Rabajà; its first bottle dates to 1971, when Giuseppe decided to back Barbaresco. His father Giacomo encouraged him, his wife supported him, and their children helped his dream grow.

The producer’s wines come from Rabajà and Trifolera, with Rabajà at approximately 260–315 metres and Trifolera at approximately 200–320 metres. The vineyards include Nebbiolo for Barbaresco, while Chardonnay, Dolcetto and Barbera grow on the Trifolera slope. Its wines include Barbaresco Rabajà, which originated in a small vineyard farmed by the family. The winery’s Barbaresco undergoes spontaneous fermentation in old cement tanks and ages in old Slavonian oak barrels.
On VinoVoss, Giuseppe Cortese has 5 wines in stock: 5 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 96 ratings.
