About Giulio Cocchi
Giulio Cocchi is a wine producer founded in Asti in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi, a pastry chef from Florence. By 1913, Cocchi had seven tasting branches in Piedmont, a number that soon grew to twelve. The house has belonged to the Bava family, wine producers in Monferrato and Langa, since 1978.
The producer is based in Cocconato, Asti. Cocchi has also worked to create and promote the Alta Langa DOCG and champions the appellation.
