Garrone

Production secrets have been kept at Garrone since 1920. The winery is run by family members Roberto, Mario, Marco, and Matteo.

Located in Oira di Crevoladossola in northern Alto Piemonte, Garrone produces 50,000 to 60,000 bottles annually from 11 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards feature old and centenarian ungrafted vines planted on steep mountain terraces with dry-stone walls. Garrone mainly cultivates Nebbiolo, specifically the Prünent clone, using traditional cultivation with the Toppia pergola system and manual work from pruning to harvest.
