Funaro

The Funaro winery was founded in 2003. Tiziana, Clemente, and Giacomo Funaro participate in the family business, and Rosario is the winemaker. In the history of the estate, the original winery facility was completed in 2011. Later, in 2018, the facility was expanded with the addition of a twin building.

The winery is located on a small hill in Santa Ninfa, overlooking the Belice Valley. Agricultural work follows organic farming without chemical pesticides, and organic certification was achieved in 2011. Winemaking at the winery includes affinement in French and American oak barrels of different volumes, as well as an underground area for Metodo Classico sur lies aging. Its wines include Grillo Riserva and Pinzeri.
