Fattoria di Magliano was founded in 1997 in Maremma by Agostino Lenci, who decided to become a wine producer after entrepreneurial experience in the footwear sector. In 1997, the estate purchased land in Sterpeti and prepared its first plantings, and Agostino Lenci's family continues to carry on the winery project.

The estate spans 97 hectares, of which 45 are vineyards, with the remainder comprising the cellar, olive groves, woods, and agritourism accommodations. All vineyards are located within a 5-kilometer radius of the winery, and farming is entirely certified organic. The cellar spans approximately 1,500 square meters across two levels, including an underground floor, with the barrel cellar arranged across two lateral wings of 250 square meters each, and the winery introduced truncated conical concrete vats for the aging of Sangiovese.
