The history of Domaine Oratoire Saint Martin began when the Alary family settled in Cairanne in 1692 under the leadership of André Alary. Until the 1900s, the family practiced mixed farming including sheep breeding, silkworms, and madder culture alongside viticulture. Frédéric and François Alary took over the estate in 1984, and in 2020, the Abeille-Fabre family, owners of Château Mont-Redon in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, took over the estate.

The estate practiced organic viticulture in the 1990s and biodynamics from 2008. Red grapes include Grenache noir, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Counoise, Vaccarèse, and Muscardin, while white grapes include Marsanne, Roussanne, Clairette, and Grenache blanc. Production is 75% red wines and 25% whites, and its wines include Haut-Coustias (Cairanne Rouge), Les Douyes (Cairanne Blanc), and Réserve des Seigneurs.
