Domaine Garon traces its family winemaking history in Côte-Rôtie to the birth of Jean Garon in 1485 in Ampuis. In the 1980s, Jean-François and Carmen Garon revived abandoned terraces, replanting La Triote and then Lancement in 1987. The first Côte-Rôtie bottle was vinified in 1995 after trials in 1993 and 1994. Domaine Garon was officially founded in 2003 with 2 hectares of vines in Côte-Rôtie. Paul, Tom, and Valentine represent the new generation at Domaine Garon.

The estate covers more than 16 hectares. It follows sustainable farming practices, using strict minimum treatments of sulfur and almost no copper. Soils are worked using horses, tractors, and pickaxes, with grass cover grown where nature allows. Its wines include the Côte-Rôtie cuvée Les Rochins, cuvée Les Triotes, a Syrah from Collines Rhodaniennes named Les Grandes Parcelles in 2017, cuvée Sybarine, the single-vineyard cuvée Lancement, Condrieu La Vieille Maison, a Viognier, and Saint-Péray and Cornas wines.
On VinoVoss, Domaine Garon has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.4 out of 5 from 4 ratings.
