Coppo is a winery founded in Canelli, Piedmont, in 1892 by Piero Coppo. In 1910, he married Clelia Pennone, heir to the Pio Pennone wine cellars. New owners took over in 2021 as investment in Nebbiolo in the Langhe increased.

Coppo’s roughly 85 hectares of vineyards lie mainly in upper Asti Monferrato and the Langhe, and it grows Moscato Bianco, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Since 2001, it has followed an official integrated farming protocol with practices designed to limit environmental impact, using pheromones to disrupt insect mating and reduce the use of harsh insecticides. All its wines mature in Canelli’s UNESCO-listed underground cellars. Its wines include Pomorosso, first harvested in 1984, as well as Monteriolo, Barolo and Alta Langa A Licia.
On VinoVoss, Coppo has 4 wines in stock: 3 red, 1 sparkling. Their average rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 86 ratings. Coppo is in the top 10% of the 131 rated Piemonte wineries on VinoVoss.
