Cirillo is a wine estate whose history includes Vincent Cirillo’s immigration from Calabria to South Australia in 1946. Vincent remained steadfast during the 1980s vine pull program, and the 1848 vines survived. Marco Cirillo is the estate’s owner and winemaker.

Its Grenache and Semillon parcels are recognised as the oldest surviving and producing examples of these varieties in the world. The vines tend to be dry-grown and low-yielding. The winemaking approach uses minimal intervention and natural and wild yeasts, with handpicked fruit destemmed into open fermenters kept at very cool temperatures. Its wines include Cirillo Estate 1848 Grenache from the Barossa Valley, Cirillo Estate 1848 Semillon, Cirillo Estate 1848 Ella Shiraz, and Cirillo Estate Vincent Grenache.
On VinoVoss, Cirillo has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 31 ratings.
