The winery Chaume Arnaud was established in 1987, when, at age 23, Valérie rented 4.5 hectares of vines from her parents. In 1989, Philippe joined his wife Valérie at the estate after working as a wine equipment technician. In 1999, the family took over the entire family estate to vinify 35 hectares of vines. Thibaud, the eldest son, joined the estate in 2011, and in 2019, the winery was expanded to meet demand and enhance working conditions.

Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah are grown on clay-limestone and stony hillside slopes, while Chenin, Rolle, Chasselas, Caladoc, Merlot, and Syrah are cultivated on the fertile Eygues plain. The estate chose organic farming in the late 1990s and began applying biodynamic farming principles in 2004. Organic and biodynamic farming are practiced on the entire estate, and it has been certified AB and Demeter since 2009.
