Charly Thévenet is a wine producer in Villié-Morgon in Beaujolais, just south of Chiroubles, where the Thévenet family has produced Gamay for four generations. The Thévenets belong to the group of domaines dubbed the “Gang of Four” by Kermit Lynch. Continuing the family’s work, Charly and his father, Jean-Paul, began making wines together under the same label in 2018.

The estate comprises 11.5 hectares of Gamay vines, some up to 70 years old, with granite soils that allow roots to reach bedrock. In the winery, father and son use whole-bunch carbonic maceration with spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats, followed by eight to ten months of ageing in concrete. The wines are bottled without fining or filtration, with small amounts of sulphur added only when necessary. Its wines include Morgon cuvées.
On VinoVoss, Charly Thévenet has 1 wine in stock: 1 red. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 2 ratings.
