Pierre Cotton is a wine estate on the south face of Brouilly hill, where Joseph Sanvers settled in 1856. Joseph was followed by Philibert Sanvers, then Jean and Marinette Sanvers; Evelyne and Guy Cotton took over in 1976. Pierre Cotton and Marine Bonnet are partners in the estate.

The estate’s 9 hectares span Beaujolais, Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Régnié and Fleurie, growing mainly Gamay alongside a plot of resistant varieties: Muscaris, Souvigné gris, Voltis and Floréal. Its certified organic vines average 65 years and are gobelet-trained at 10,000 vines per hectare. Farming combines cover crops, hedges, trees within plots and gentle pruning, with around 500 trees planted annually in and around the vines. Hand-picked grapes go into small crates to keep them intact before carbonic maceration with indigenous yeasts, generally without added sulphur. Its wines include single-plot cuvées.
On VinoVoss, Pierre Cotton has 4 wines in stock: 4 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 37 ratings.
