Alex Foillard

Alex Foillard, son of Jean and Agnès Foillard, is a wine producer who founded his own domaine with vineyards in Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly. He previously studied and developed his winemaking skills in Montpellier, Beaune, Australia and Japan. In 2015, he began working at the domaine in Morgon, establishing his own domaine alongside this work.

Alex’s domaine began with two hectares of vineyards, one in Brouilly and one in Côte de Brouilly. Following the same philosophy as the family domaine, he combines extensive vineyard work with minimal intervention in the cellar so that the finished wine expresses the nuances and identity of its terroir.
