Carpano is a vermouth producer from Turin, where Antonio Benedetto Carpano created his formula in 1786 and his nephew Giuseppe Bernardino Carpano formally founded the business in 1820. As the business expanded beyond its workshop, brothers Luigi and Ottavio Carpano established an industrial plant in 1898. Ownership passed to Silvio Turati in 1939, before Fratelli Branca Distillerie acquired Carpano in 2001.

The acquisition brought production to Fratelli Branca Distillerie’s premises in Milan. Its wines include Antica Formula, with notes of vanilla, and Punt e Mes, which combines the sweetness of vermouth with the bitterness of cinchona. Carpano also makes Botanic Bitter, which brings together ten herbs.
On VinoVoss, Carpano has 3 wines in stock: 3 fortified. Their average rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 25 ratings.
