Cantina del Pino is a winery with vineyards around Ovello hill, and its property was bought in the 1920s by Giuseppe Vacca from Domizio Cavazza, director of the Royal Enological School in Alba. Winemaker Renato studied winemaking at the Royal Enological School in Alba before spending five years with Produttori del Barbaresco, after which he wanted to test his own ideas and methods. Cantina del Pino branched out from the Produttori del Barbaresco cooperative in 1997. Franca joined the business in 2013, and she and Renato run the winery alongside his parents.

The family's vineyards are concentrated around Ovello hill, where a cooler microclimate accompanies limestone soils with sandy veins and high calcium content. Cantina del Pino makes its wines from Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto.
On VinoVoss, Cantina del Pino has 5 wines in stock: 5 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 137 ratings.
