The sensation is ripe and full, with a big, almost New World ripeness that benefits from aeration. The mid-palete is round and textured, with dried apricot, honey, and peppery/nutty/milk chocolate undertones that are backed by a delicate finish. However, the conclusion is somewhat short and clumsy, detracting from the comprehensively balance, finesse, and charm of the wine. A good wine, but not quite there yet. 88/100.

The taste is voluptuous and luscious, with a promising over-ripeness that adds depth. However, the second taste is unexpectedly spicy and high in alcohol, disrupting the harmony. The tartness is sharp, and the creamy grip provides a smooth finish. The trail is long and mineral-driven, with a lingering aftertaste that recalls the Kremstal style of GV. Overall, a promising but flawed wine, scoring 87/100.

Very nice Grüner V. that pairs well with veal (Wienerschnitzel), although it may not be the best match for asparagus.
