This Forstreiter Grooner Grüner Veltliner is a brilliant example of the Veltliner varietal. It has a medium body, with a light and fresh nose of apple, lemon and peach. On the palate, it is vibrant and crisp with a flavor profile of citrus, stone fruit, herbs and minerals. Its bright acidity carries through to the finish, making it a great pairing with a variety of dishes.

Tyrell
A dense, earthy boldness on the nose, with a intense vegetal flavor profile that's heavily influenced by stone fruit and citrus. The profile is dominated by a strong, earthy character, with a lack of subtlety and a heavy reliance on vegetation.
Eywa
Elegant and subtle wine with a subtle, pale color. The nose reveals a fresh and refreshing apple character, with a note of green pear and tropical fruit notes. The tasting is clean and well-balanced, with a gentle close that presents the pear and lemon zest flavors, leaving a mild touch of saline.
Jiseon
The 2016 Austrian GV vintage was a top notch for its bracing and crisp qualities, with a delightful seamlessness of citrus and green apple flavors that danced on the palate. The aftertaste was clean and satisfying, with a suggestion of stone fruit. A stylish and modern label, this wine was seamlessly suited to a warm evening in Manhattan, where it was served chilled and enjoyed in the company of friends.

Forstreiter Grooner Grüner Veltliner is praised for its crisp and refreshing qualities, with flavors of citrus, green apple, and pear. Many appreciate its well-balanced and lively character, perfect for warm weather or casual gatherings. However, some find it too earthy and vegetal, lacking subtlety. The wine's zesty and peppery finish is a highlight, though opinions vary on its complexity and style.
