This sparkling white from the Lugana DOC in Italy is a sparkling blend of Trebbiano di Lugana and Chardonnay. Aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits are complemented by a palate of bright acidity and a creamy mousse. The finish is clean and refreshing with notes of white stone fruits, apple blossom, and a hint of brioche. A delicious aperitif or accompaniment to light seafood dishes.

Guff
I was initially presented with this bottle, but I chose to overlook it, assuming it would be the bubbly component of our mimosas. However, upon tasting it, I decided to proceed without the juice. The wine exhibits a minerality profile, featuring soft crisp and sharp fruit notes, well-balanced, and possessing an almost petrol-like nose. It is sourced from one of my preferred Italian regions, and I am pleased with my decision.
Jankee
Crisp, effervescent, pale, tart, with mild suggestions of apple.
Yure
Intense and harmonious wine with a harmonious integration of sweet and dry notes, featuring a mild floral and fruity character, highlighted by a nuanced minerality and a long, satisfying finish.

Zenato Lugana Metodo Classico Brut is praised for its crispness, minerality, and harmonious blend of fruit flavors like apple, lemon, and peach. While some appreciate its vibrant effervescence and balanced sweetness, others find it lacking in body and complexity. Notable for its floral and petrol-like aromas, it offers a refreshing and elegant drinking experience, though opinions on its value vary.
