Toji
A wine that defies expectations, Vodoo Child is 100% Pinot Gris, yet its sophistication and nuance are utterly captivating. The lack of temperature control, sulfites, and filtration only adds to its mystique, yielding a wine with a distinctive pink hue. The aromas are a deep tapestry of strawberry preserve, earth, ripe peach, white plum, and spices, with a medium acidity, medium body, and controlled tannins. Overall, a truly extraordinary wine that warrants repeated exploration.
Kujivunia
Layered and engaging wine with a dry nose, featuring earthy and mushroomy flavors on the palate. The boldness of almonds, mould, and wet wood adds richness and complexity, at the same time subtle flavors of peach linger on the finish.
Adilberto
Bold and unconventional wine impression awaits you!\n\nThis is not a typical Pinot Gris, demonstrating a deep and captivating nose with intense aromas of wild strawberries, rose petals, and rosemary.\n\nThe taste is recognized by a zesty harmony of green strawberries and a high level of acidity, accompanied by a nuanced bitterness that adds depth and complexity.\n\nThis wine is a true original, defying expectations and challenging the palate.\n\nWhile it may not be to everyone's taste, it is certainly a memorable and thought-provoking experience.\n\nI must admit, I was more surprised and perplexed than pleased with this unexpected wine.\n\nNB: The vintage on the label is not accurate, and I would advise against relying on it for a definitive assessment of the wine's quality.

Wenzel Wild + Free Pinot Gris is praised for its captivating aromas of strawberry, peach, and earth, with a medium body and controlled tannins. While some enjoy its bold, complex flavors of almonds and wet wood, others find its high acidity and bitterness challenging. Its distinctive pink hue and lack of sulfites add intrigue, making it a memorable choice for adventurous wine drinkers.
The 2021 Wenzel Wild + Free Pinot Gris presents a captivating pale copper hue, indicative of its skin-contact vinification. On the nose, it unfurls a bouquet of ripe apricot, bruised apple, and a whisper of white pepper, underscored by a subtle earthiness. The palate is medium-bodied with a textural richness, showcasing layers of stone fruit and a hint of almond skin, balanced by a vibrant acidity that lends precision and lift. The finish is long and mineral-driven, with a saline edge that speaks to its terroir. This wine exemplifies the expressive potential of Pinot Gris in a natural style.
