Rich, full-bodied wine with a bold plum hue, accompanied by a substantial aroma of concord grape jelly and blueberry. The taste is recognized by a concentrated flavor profile, featuring tart cherry and unripe raspberry notes, with nuances of grape jelly, vanilla, and a light oak presence. The conclusion is brief, with no lingering aftertaste. Decanted 2 hours prior to serving, this wine is best enjoyed in its current state. A good wine, but one that benefits from a longer aging process.

What the web is saying

The Venge Vineyards Igneous Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is noted for its rich, full-bodied character with a bold plum hue. It offers aromas of concord grape jelly and blueberry, with flavors of tart cherry, unripe raspberry, and hints of vanilla and light oak. While some appreciate its concentrated profile, others find the finish short and suggest it may improve with aging.

Voss Experts4.6

This Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep garnet hue, offering a bouquet of cassis, black cherry, and graphite, underscored by hints of cedar and dark chocolate. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure with velvety tannins and a core of ripe blackberry and plum, seamlessly integrated with nuances of espresso and crushed stone. The wine's vibrant acidity provides balance, while a long, mineral-driven finish showcases its elegance and potential for aging. This is a quintessential expression of Napa terroir, reflecting both power and finesse, suitable for cellaring or immediate enjoyment with hearty fare.
