Gghh
Delightful evening of football and fine wine, with the Detroit Lions' first home playoff game in 1991. The Venge and Missouri Hopper are a match made in heaven, with a opulent and generous nose of black currant, black cherry, and vanilla bean. The 2019 M Hopper is a masterclass in balance and restraint, with silky tannins that just right round out the wine. The finish is long and satisfying, making it a fantastic recommendation for a special occasion. A fantastic offering for the price, with the 2018 being a bit overdone and in need of more time to mature.
Jrnnn Dankmeyer
Rich, full-bodied wine with a layered plum color and a dense, silky texture. The nose is led by by tones of deep fruit, featuring blackberry and plum, with suggestions of menthol, earth, and graphite. The texture is featured by a powerful, tannic structure, with notes of opaque fruit, pomegranate, and cocoa powder, all tied together by a subtle wisp of cigar box. A truly stellar wine that is well worth the investment.
