Geraldine
A luscious and full-bodied Australian chardonnay with a sophisticated nose featuring pear, oak, and butter notes, smooth by a fresh and citrusy mouthfeel with petrol and vegetal undertones. The tartness is moderate, and the conclusion is short, but the in total memory is one of a well-crafted, solid wine.

Vasse Felix Filius Chardonnay is praised for its rich, buttery notes and well-integrated oak, with flavors of citrus, tropical fruits, and a creamy texture. Some find it elegant and well-balanced, while others feel it lacks complexity or is too oaky. The wine's crisp acidity and smooth finish are appreciated, though some note a short or unremarkable finish. Overall, it's considered a solid choice for its price.
Vasse Felix Filius Chardonnay is a delightful expression of Margaret River Chardonnay. It showcases the region's renowned ability to produce exceptional white wines. On the nose, the Vasse Felix Filius Chardonnay offers a bouquet of vibrant citrus fruits, such as lemon and grapefruit, intertwined with subtle hints of white peach and melon. These aromas are complemented by delicate floral notes, adding a touch of elegance to the overall profile. The palate is beautifully balanced, with a medium body and a refreshing acidity that brings liveliness to the wine. Flavors of ripe stone fruits, particularly nectarine and apricot, take center stage, accompanied by a gentle touch of vanilla and toasted oak. The oak influence is well-integrated, providing structure and complexity without overpowering the fruit. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of citrus zest and a subtle minerality. Vasse Felix Filius Chardonnay is a versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes. It pairs exceptionally well with seafood, grilled chicken, or creamy pasta dishes.
