The zest is still present, but the tail is now more subdued, and the in summary effect is one of refinement and maturity. but it's still a pleasant wine, it doesn't feel as groundbreaking or innovative as it once did. In fact, I've come to appreciate the work of Gentle Folk, who seem to be crafting some of the best Chardonnays in the region.
