Yur
A fruit-forward wine with a lighter profile, lacking body and complexity. The initial highlight is pleasant, but the layers quickly become overwhelming. The nose is marked by by strawberry and raspberry notes, while the sensation is overly fruit-forward, with little nuance or subtlety. The appearance is unremarkable, with a light, transparent color. The tail is short and lacking in depth. The aging process seems to have mellowed the wine, making it seem younger than its actual 12-year age. Overall, I prefer wines with more substance and balance.
