Voss Expert tasting note
The nose is a refined bouquet of rose petals, red cherry, and a hint of tar, underscored by subtle notes of dried herbs and anise.

Lively and sweet treat, the frozen strawberries offer a light and enjoyable taste, similar to of a crisp white fruit. The plum-like flavor adds a substance and complexity, making this a very fulfilling and pleasant experience.

Stellar offering for the price, I would definitely purchase again. I enjoyed the 2020 Nebbiolo in January 2024, and it was a young, vibrant tasting experience. It will age for a couple more years, but it's not a Barolo, so I would recommend enjoying it. To fully appreciate its potential, I recommend decanting it for 20-30 minutes to allow the heat of the alcohol to dissipate, and to release the earthy and red fruit notes. It has medium tannins and a medium dryness level. I would return to it in the future.

Tintero Elvio Langhe Nebbiolo is praised for its rich, fruity character with notes of cherry, plum, and earthy undertones. Many enjoy its well-balanced and smooth texture, while some find it dry and tannic. The wine is often described as vibrant and complex, with a need for decanting to fully appreciate its flavors. Opinions vary on its sweetness and acidity, but it's generally seen as a good value.
This Langhe Nebbiolo presents a garnet hue with a translucent edge, characteristic of the varietal. The nose is a refined bouquet of rose petals, red cherry, and a hint of tar, underscored by subtle notes of dried herbs and anise. On the palate, the wine reveals a medium-bodied structure with finely grained tannins and vibrant acidity, offering a harmonious balance. Flavors of ripe raspberry and cranberry are interwoven with earthy undertones and a touch of spice, leading to a lingering, mineral-driven finish. This Nebbiolo is a commendable expression of Piedmont's terroir, suitable for near-term enjoyment.
