Exemplifying the coastal terroir of Santa Barbara, the Tatomer Meeresboden Grüner Veltliner presents a pale straw hue with a greenish tint. The nose is an intricate tapestry of white pepper, lime zest, and wet stone, underscored by a whisper of fennel. On the palate, it unfurls with a precise minerality, complemented by vibrant acidity that frames flavors of green apple and quince. The wine's texture is both lithe and structured, leading to a saline-inflected, lingering finish. This Grüner Veltliner stands as a benchmark for New World expressions, offering both complexity and finesse.
