It
Distinguished selection in the flight, with a notably impressive nose that outshone En Gobelet's. The tasting was more nuanced, with cherry cola and vanilla suggestions blended by black fruit. while it was slightly more tannic than its peers, the quality was undeniable. A solid cost effectiveness for the price, with Gigondas, Vacqueras, and CdP giving equally impressive alternatives.
Hrystynka
Lean and invigorating beverage that combines the sweetness of cherry cola with the warmth of pepper, creating a unique and thought provoking flavor profile that is both lively and light on the palate, with a smooth follow through that leaves a satisfying aftertaste. The addition of a hint of cinnamon from the Counoise adds profoundness and intricacy to this blend, making it a very tasty and interesting drink.
Fushie
Their flagship Mourvèdre-based Rhone blend Esprit is a more elegant and earthy experience compared to their Cotes, with a richer, more substantial character.

Tablas Creek Vineyard Esprit de Tablas is praised for its rich, full-bodied texture and complex flavor profile, featuring notes of cherry, blackberry, and earthy undertones. While some find it elegant and well-balanced, others note its boldness and depth. The wine's smooth tannins and long finish are consistently highlighted, with hints of spice and oak adding to its appeal. It's a versatile wine that pleases both casual drinkers and connoisseurs.
The Tablas Creek Vineyard Esprit de Tablas is a highly regarded wine that showcases the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of Tablas Creek Vineyard. This wine is a blend of traditional Rhône varietals, including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Counoise, together with Vaccarese and Cinsault, which are meticulously grown and hand-harvested on the estate. On the nose, the Esprit de Tablas offers a complex bouquet of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum, intertwined with notes of black pepper, dried herbs, and a hint of floral undertones. The aromas are beautifully layered and evolve with each swirl of the glass, revealing the wine's depth and complexity. The palate is equally impressive, with a rich and velvety texture that coats the mouth. The flavors are harmonious and well-integrated, showcasing a perfect balance between the fruit, spice, and earthy characteristics. Ripe black cherry, blackcurrant, and blueberry flavors dominate, accompanied by hints of licorice, forest floor, and a touch of leather. The wine's structure is firm yet elegant, with well-integrated tannins and a long, lingering finish. The Esprit de Tablas is a wine that can be enjoyed now, but it also has excellent aging potential. With proper cellaring, it will continue to evolve and develop additional complexity over the next decade or more. This wine pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, including grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
