Initially, the profile was overwhelmed by a robust and fruity profile, with currants and blackberry jam dominating the flavor landscape.

What the web is saying

Venge Vineyards Scout's Honor Red is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with fruit-forward notes of blackberry, plum, and cherry. It features well-integrated tannins and a smooth, velvety finish. While some appreciate its complexity and balance, others find it overly sweet or lacking in depth. The wine's blend of Zinfandel, Charbono, Petite Sirah, and Syrah is often highlighted for its harmonious integration.

This Venge Vineyards Scout's Honor Red Blend is a complex and vibrant blend . On the nose, it has aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and blueberry, with subtle hints of cedar and vanilla. On the palate, it has flavors of dark fruit, leather, forest floor, and spice, with a nice, long finish. It is a well-balanced wine with a good amount of tannin, but it also has a nice acidity that keeps it from being too heavy. Overall, this is a delicious and enjoyable wine that would pair nicely with a variety of dishes.
