Voss Expert tasting note

The Summerer Langenlois Grüner Veltliner displays a pale straw color in the glass. On the nose, aromas of green apple, citrus, and white pepper slowly reveal themselves. These notes are complemented by subtle floral notes, adding a touch of elegance to the overall profile. The palate is crisp and lively, with flavors of zesty lemon, green pear, and a hint of spice. The wine's acidity provides a refreshing and invigorating mouthfeel, that energises the medium length, dry finish.

Summerer Langenlois Grüner Veltliner is produced by Weingut Weszeli, with grapes sourced from the Langenlois town located in the Kamptal region of Austria. This wine is fermented and matured in inert vessels to best showcase the varietal character of Grüner Veltliner, resulting in a crisp, fresh, and vibrant, with lovely flavors of green apple, lime, and grapefruit. Thanks to its racy acidity, this wine lends itself perfectly to fatty pork dishes, but can work equally well with a wide array of vegetarian pairings that can complement the wine's flavors of pea shoots and radishes.
