Rich and soft Napa cab impression unfolds, with ripe red fruit and stone accents mingling harmoniously, punctuated by nuanced spice and a nuance of bold chocolate, all wrapped in a round and rich finish.

What the web is saying

Stags' Leap The Investor Red is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of blackberry, plum, and chocolate. Many appreciate its smooth finish and well-integrated tannins. While some find it a bit overpriced and lacking complexity, others enjoy its bold flavors and versatility with food pairings. The wine's nuanced spice and oak undertones add depth, making it a popular choice for both casual and special occasions.

Voss Experts3.5

Stags' Leap The Investor Red Blend is a full-bodied and richly structured red blend that is complex and layered. On the nose, aromas of cassis, blackberry, and dark cherry mingle with notes of baking spices, forest floor, and cedar. On the palate, the wine is juicy and intense, with dark fruit flavors that linger on the finish. The tannins are well integrated, providing balance to the lush fruit. This is an impressive wine that will continue to develop complexity and character over time.
