The Skipstone Viognier presents a luminous straw hue, offering an aromatic bouquet of honeysuckle, apricot, and white peach, underscored by subtle hints of ginger and wet stone. On the palate, it unfolds with a rich, unctuous texture balanced by vibrant acidity, revealing layers of ripe nectarine and a whisper of almond cream. The mid-palate is expansive, leading to a lingering finish marked by floral and mineral nuances. This Viognier exemplifies the varietal's opulence while maintaining a poised elegance, positioning it as a benchmark for New World expressions of this Rhône varietal.

Skipstone Viognier is praised for its rich, silky structure and complex flavors, including tropical fruit, melon, and citrus, with hints of vanilla and floral notes. While some appreciate its clean acidity and minerality, others find it less appealing. The wine's elegant finish and unique character make it a standout, though it may not suit all palates.
