This Sauvignon Blanc from Friuli Venezia Giulia is a masterclass in precision and elegance. The pale straw hue introduces a bouquet of white peach, elderflower, and a hint of flint, underscored by a subtle grassy herbaceousness. On the palate, it reveals a vibrant acidity that seamlessly integrates with flavors of ripe citrus, green apple, and a whisper of wet stone minerality. The wine's medium body is complemented by a long, crisp finish, marked by a delicate salinity. This is a quintessential expression of Friulian terroir, showcasing both finesse and complexity, ideal for pairing with seafood or fresh cheeses.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
