The Sandhi Rinconada Chardonnay presents a luminous straw hue, indicative of its vibrant character. On the nose, it offers an intricate bouquet of Meyer lemon, white peach, and a hint of crushed seashell, underscored by subtle oak nuances of hazelnut and brioche. The palate is a masterclass in balance, with a taut, mineral-driven acidity that elegantly frames its creamy texture. Flavors of ripe stone fruit and citrus zest are seamlessly integrated, leading to a long, saline finish. This Chardonnay exemplifies the precision and finesse of the Sta. Rita Hills terroir, standing as a benchmark for the region.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
