Graceful blend of Muscat Blanc and Sémillon, this wine exhibits a rich body with a smooth, supple mouthfeel. Its sophisticated profile is distinguished by a faint stability of sweet and savory notes, featuring honeysuckle, orange blossom, lemon, and ginger, which complement the palate's freshness. The trail is long and satisfying, with a gentle whisper of cream and a touch of sage.

The wine's fate was sealed from the start, as it was poured down the drain without any consideration for its potential.

What the web is saying

Rogue Vine Jamón Jamón Grand Itata White is praised for its unique blend of Muscat Blanc and Sémillon, offering floral and citrus notes like honeysuckle, orange blossom, and lemon. It has a silky finish and a rich, velvety texture, though some find it has a noticeable funk. While some appreciate its complexity and minerality, others feel it's too reserved or strident.

Voss Experts4.5

This intriguing white blend from the Itata Valley showcases a luminous straw hue, revealing a bouquet of ripe apricot, quince, and a whisper of jasmine. On the palate, it presents a harmonious interplay of stone fruit and citrus zest, underscored by a mineral backbone that speaks to its terroir. The wine's medium body is complemented by a vibrant acidity, providing a refreshing lift and a lingering saline finish. Its complexity and balance make it a quintessential expression of the region, ideal for those seeking a distinctive alternative to traditional white varietals.
