Robert Foley Vineyards Claret 2018

Robert Foley Vineyards Claret is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile and complex flavors of ripe fruit, spice, and earthy undertones. While many appreciate its boldness and aging potential, some find the tannins overpowering. The wine's balance of fruit and structure, along with notes of oak, chocolate, and licorice, make it a favorite for those seeking a sophisticated experience.

Robert Foley Vineyards Claret is a rich and flavorful red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. On the nose, this wine offers aromas of dark cherry, plum, blackberry, and cassis, with subtle notes of vanilla and oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and lush, with flavors of dark fruits, coffee, and spice. The tannins are well-integrated, and the finish is long and lingering. This is an excellent example of a California Claret, and a great pairing for grilled meats and hearty stews.
