Voluptuous and decadent wine journey awaits, with a profound garnet colour and a evolved cedar and blackcurrant aroma that unfolds with each sip.

Opulent and intricate nose with a strong vegetal presence, featuring flavors of green bell pepper, hay, and smoke, alongside hints of blackberry. The mouthfeel is similarly nuanced, with a more restrained green bell pepper weight and a longer, more satisfying finish. A top notch wine, and a pleasure to share with others.

What the web is saying

Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied profile with complex layers of dark fruit, cedar, and forest floor. While some praise its smooth tannins and long finish, others find it occasionally lacks freshness. The wine's aging potential is widely acknowledged, with many noting its ability to develop over decades. Its intricate blend of flavors makes it a standout choice for those seeking a sophisticated wine experience.

Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello Cabernet is a classic expression of the renowned Monte Bello appellation, showcasing the complexity and power of the region's terroir. On the nose, this Cabernet offers aromas of cassis and blackberry, complemented by notes of bell pepper, forest floor, and toasty oak. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and rich with a deep core of dark fruit, complemented by cedar, baking spice, and hints of graphite minerality. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasing balance of tannins and acidity. Pair this Cabernet with grilled steak, roast lamb, or wild mushroom risotto for a truly memorable experience.
