This Ricossa Barolo offers a beautiful and complex aroma, with notes of ripe red fruit, leather, spices, and dried flowers. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with enticing flavors of black cherry, plum, and earthy spices, balanced by a firm tannic structure and an elegant acidity. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of forest floor, leather and minerals. Overall, this is a well-structured and sophisticated Barolo that will age gracefully for years to come.

Bold and evolved wine with a intense reddish-brown color, enhanced by a vibrant violet red fruit and a subtle wood bouquet. The wine's profile is featured by a tart and refreshing taste, which gradually gives way to a softer, more inviting finish.
Jaelle
The wine's rich, brownish tint is supported by a rich nose that combines black currant, burnt notes, and a hint of liquorice. The taste is marked by deep, fruity flavors, with raspberries, tobacco, and white pepper, with a gratifying follow through that is rounded by red fruit and a subtle tannic presence.

Over time, the wine didn't mature as expected, returning to its original state.

Ricossa Barolo is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with notes of cherry, leather, and oak. Many appreciate its well-balanced tannins and complex flavors, while some find it lacking in intensity or body. The wine often features a smooth finish and is considered a good value for its price. However, a few reviews mention disappointing aging potential. Overall, it offers a satisfying drinking experience.
