Raymond Reserve Selection Chardonnay is praised for its creamy texture, full-bodied profile, and balanced oak and fruit flavors. While some appreciate its smoothness and complexity with notes of apple, pear, and citrus, others find it lacking in freshness and complexity. The wine's buttery and oak characteristics are frequently noted, making it a popular choice for those who enjoy a rich, opulent Chardonnay.
This Raymond Reserve Selection Chardonnay is a bright, medium-bodied white wine with aromas of green apple, white peach, and a hint of lemon zest. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy, with a luscious texture and flavors of ripe citrus, honey, and toasty oak. The finish is crisp and refreshing, with a pleasing mineral-tinged aftertaste. Enjoy this delicate yet complex Chardonnay now or cellar for future enjoyment.
