Refined and elegant wine from a small, family-owned estate in the heart of the region, revealing the unique characteristics of the Valtuille terroir. The blend of Mencía, Garnacha Tintorera, and other white varieties from 5 distinct vineyards, all over 100 years old and with stony soil, results in a well blended and graceful wine with a light tannin presence. The aging process, with spontaneous fermentation in barrels and containers of varying sizes, adds profoundness and sophistication to the wine, during the French oak barrels impart a rich, soft texture. The close is long and satisfying, with a elegant note of spice and a touch of leather, whereas the fruit undertones are red and black, with a suggestion of anise.
