Punset Barbera d'Alba

Punset Barbera d'Alba is generally praised for its rich fruit flavors, including cherry, raspberry, and black cherry, with a balanced acidity and smooth texture. Some vintages offer a mineral undertone and subtle oak notes. While many appreciate its full-bodied and velvety nature, others find certain vintages lacking in smoothness and balance. It's a versatile wine, pairing well with various dishes, making it a solid choice for everyday drinking.

Punset Barbera d'Alba is a delightful red wine from the Barbera d'Alba region in Italy. This wine is known for its vibrant acidity, medium body, and intense red fruit flavors. On the nose, you can expect to find aromas of ripe red cherries and a hint of nutmeg spice. The palate is filled with juicy red fruit flavors, balanced by soft tannins and a vibrant acidity. The finish is moderate but the alcohol is slightly warming on the finish. That will disappear with food. Try serving this with rabbit saltimbocca.
