Poggio Al Tesoro Dedicato a Walter Bolgheri Superiore is an exceptional wine that showcases the best of Bolgheri. On the nose, it exudes an intense and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and black cherry, intertwined with hints of spice, forest floor, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, Poggio Al Tesoro Dedicato a Walter Bolgheri Superiore offers a full-bodied and velvety texture, with well-integrated tannins that provide structure and balance. The flavors are rich and concentrated, with a beautiful interplay between the fruit and the oak. Ripe black fruits continue to dominate, accompanied by nuances of dark chocolate, leather, and a touch of earthiness. The wine culminates in a long and persistent finish, leaving a lasting impression. This wine is a perfect companion for special occasions or when you simply want to indulge in a truly remarkable wine experience. Frappe
Wine that overpowered the senses with its overpowering oakiness, cinnamon, vanilla, and sweet spices, accompanied by a cloying sweetness and a fruitiness that was overly ripe and sweet, with blackberry and blueberry touches that were both familiar and unremarkable. A wine that failed to impress, with a finish that lingered too long and a lingering sweetness that was overwhelming.
Gombos
The flagship wine of Poggio al Tesoro winery, crafted entirely from Cabernet Franc variety.
Denylson
Deep and evolved Tuscan with a bold, spicy opening that gives way to a smooth, supple finish. The tannins are well-balanced, and the backbone is long and satisfying. A mind-blowing pairing for seafood dishes, primarily those with a strong, savory flavor profile.

This Cabernet Franc from Bolgheri shows impressive complexity with rich dark fruit flavors and spice notes, though oak influence divides opinions. While most praise its well-structured tannins and aging potential, some find newer vintages overly oaky. The wine's full-bodied character and long finish receive consistent acclaim, though a few note excessive sweetness in particular years.
