Subtle seamlessness of peachy shades and creamy undertones, with a soft floral nuance and a refreshing minerality. The palate is well-balanced, with a supple feel and a comforting bacon fat finish. The tail is long and lingering, with a accent of spice and a delicate herbal note. Overall, a well-crafted wine with a silky and subtle character.

What the web is saying

The Pichler-Krutzler Grüner Veltliner Ried Loibenberg is appreciated for its fuller body and rich, dimensional character. While some enjoy its peachy shades, creamy undertones, and refreshing minerality, others highlight its long, spicy finish with herbal notes. The wine is generally seen as well-balanced and silky, though some reviews are more reserved in their enthusiasm.

Voss Experts4.6

This Grüner Veltliner from the esteemed Ried Loibenberg vineyard presents a luminous straw hue, indicative of its vibrant character. On the nose, it reveals an intricate bouquet of white pepper, ripe pear, and a hint of flinty minerality, underscored by subtle notes of fresh herbs. The palate is a study in balance, with a rich, creamy texture juxtaposed against a spine of racy acidity. Layers of stone fruit and citrus zest unfold, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This wine exemplifies the precision and elegance of Wachau's terroir, making it a benchmark for the varietal.
