Casa Agrícola is an initiative led by Pepe Mendoza and his wife, building on the winemaker's 25 years of experience at Enrique Mendoza, one of the foremost wineries in D.O. Alicante. This new venture emphasizes the unique characteristics of the Levante region and employs sustainable agricultural techniques. The grapes used for Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Tinto are grown organically and cultivated using traditional methods that respect both the vines and the environment. Fermentation occurs in 10,000 kg tanks, incorporating whole berries and stems to preserve fruit integrity. The wine ages for six months in French oak barrels, resulting in a handcrafted wine that captures the full character and essence of the Mediterranean.
