Shaundra
Captivating Barolo that piqued my interest. Decanted with patience, its rich, well-rounded aroma unfolded. The nose revealed inky fruit, floral notes, and a accent of tar, in contrast the palate was surprisingly muted. The freshness and tannins remained evident, providing a fulfilling finish. However, I'm not convinced this would benefit from additional time. A solid, yet intriguing, wine.
Narcisse
Bold and textured nose with a graceful blend of leather, cherry, and oak, giving way to a supple and fruity finish. The addition of chocolate and light vanilla adds intensity and nuance, while the close is both astringent and satisfying. Overall, a well-balanced and engaging Barolo.

Paolo Scavino Barolo is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of cherry, leather, and oak. Many appreciate its balanced tannins and complex aromas of floral and earthy nuances. While some find it robust and well-structured, others note a muted palate or short finish. Its aging potential is highlighted, offering a satisfying experience for those who enjoy a nuanced and layered wine.
This Paolo Scavino Barolo is a bold and sophisticated Italian red wine. With a deep ruby color and aromas of forest floor, leather, and ripe fruits, it is a classic Barolo. On the palate, this wine is full of flavor, offering earthy notes, with hints of licorice and blackberry, and a firm tannic structure. The finish is long and lingering, with a subtle sweetness from the high alcohol content. This is a great example of the classic Barolo style and a pleasure to drink.
