The nuances are similarly nuanced, with a dominant structure of ripe fruit, particularly treefruit, which is reflective of plump, juicy grapes. The mouthfeel is round and supple, with a balanced harmony of fruit, alcohol, and tannins.

Newton The Puzzle receives praise for its rich, full-bodied character with silky tannins and balanced structure, featuring dark fruit, oak, and chocolate notes. While most vintages show harmonious integration of flavors, some older bottles exhibit diminished quality, and a few reviews note occasional pungent initial aromas that mellow with time.
This red blend offers a harmonious balance of flavors and aromas that will delight the senses. On the nose, expect a bouquet of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums, intertwined with hints of spice and oak. These aromas are inviting and give a glimpse into the wine's depth and complexity. The palate is equally impressive, with a rich and velvety texture that coats the mouth. The flavors are layered and well-integrated, with notes of black cherry, cassis, and dark chocolate. The wine's tannins are firm yet refined, adding structure and elegance to the overall profile. The Puzzle is a wine that evolves beautifully with time, so it is recommended to decant it before serving to fully appreciate its nuances. It pairs wonderfully with hearty dishes like grilled steak or braised lamb, as well as aged cheeses.
