From Mura Mura, the Piemontese estate of Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom (founders of the famed GROM gelato), 'Romeo' is a sophisticated and creative red blend. Sourced from their sustainably farmed vineyards in Costigliole d'Asti, this Piemonte Rosso DOC is an artful combination of the region's most important grapes. It is predominantly Barbera for its vibrant fruit and acidity, blended with Nebbiolo for structure and aroma, plus a touch of Grignolino and Ruché for added complexity. The wine undergoes a long and patient aging process, first in French oak tonneaux and then in ceramic amphorae, showcasing a modern yet respectful approach to Piemontese winemaking.
