Merry Edwards Chardonnay is crafted from grapes grown in the cool-climate vineyards of the Russian River Valley, where morning fog and afternoon sun create ideal conditions for balanced ripening. The wine undergoes barrel fermentation in French oak, with a portion being new, imparting subtle oak influence and enhancing its complexity. This Chardonnay is known for its vibrant acidity and rich texture, showcasing flavors of ripe apple, pear, and citrus, complemented by hints of vanilla and spice. It is designed to be enjoyed upon release but can also develop further with short-term cellaring.
