Delightful and light wine, with a lovely finish.

Clean and clean unoaked Sauvignon blanc with a soft wisp of semillon, giving a lean citrus and grassy character on the palate. The nose is defined by by a delicate balance of citrus, white pepper, and subtle spice notes, at the same time the linger is clean and easy-drinking. A exceptional cost effectiveness for the price, making it an excellent top pick for everyday drinking.

What the web is saying

Mayne de Beauregard Bergerac Rouge is appreciated for its easy-drinking nature, fruity profile, and affordability. While some find it smooth with well-integrated tannins, others note a lack of nuance and a weak finish. Common flavors include berries, plums, and spices, with occasional hints of oak and chocolate. It's considered a good value for casual drinking, though opinions on complexity vary.

Voss Experts4.3

Mayne de Beauregard Bergerac Rouge exhibits aromas of black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by hints of spices and earthy undertones. The palate of this wine is well-structured, with a medium body and unobtrusive tannins that gently frame the black fruit flavors of black cherries, blackcurrants. The wine's balanced acidity provides a refreshing and lively sensation which carries the modest but pleasant, lightly savory finish.
